"It is not right to claim that Terkos will get salty water. The bottom of the canal is under Terkos Lake.

In addition, in case of mixing of salt water or surface water effect to the canal, the necessary precautions are taken with impermeable materials. It won't pose a risk to water.

An area of 40 percent goes to Sazlıdere, but with the dams to be made from the water resources in the region, 6 times of the water loss capacity will be compensated here. It will make a positive impact on transportation and traffic. It will contribute to urban transformation.

Earthquake risk places will be moved. There is no additional population. The claim that it will finish Marmara region is not true either. The data on this subject only predicts that there is no scientific study."
